In line up at the bank today, I was thinking about personal relationships. I did not have a personal banker at this branch so had to wait in line up for 15 minutes for my simple banking transaction. For me a long wait. I had not established a personal banking relationship yet with this bank so was not able to request better or faster service.
Who are these important people in your life? Your business? These are people who help you and your business be the best that it can be. You know, those friends and associates who you can call upon for a quick question, support or just to bounce off an idea and most importantly who can be honest with you.
An important step in your succession plan is to introduce your key relationships to your successors whether your successors are family members or are your valued employees/managers.
